About

Harpenden Dance School was established in 1982 as Louise Sheaves School of Dance, changing to HDS in 2017. We offer classes for children aged from 2 years+. Our timetable of dance styles include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern Theatre, Musical Theatre and Jazz, plus adult classes for Ballet-Tone, Tap, and Jazz. Jasmine Dance along side her team of teachers brings a wealth of qualifications and experience to the school which also enjoys the benefits of talented pianists in all of our ballet and pre-school dance classes. Pupils have the opportunity to be entered for examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance and/or the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. And we put on a bi-annual show at the Eric Morecambe Theatre.

We use lots of bright coloured, sensory props in our baby classes and fun dance props like hoops, bells, ribbons and pom-poms in our toddler classes. Fun for adult and child alike!
