The St Albans Spring Festival returns on Sunday, May 17, 2025, bringing fresh excitement and a burst of local flavor to the city.

This year’s event highlights St Albans’ growing food scene, featuring newcomers like Japes with their standout London-style deep-dish pizzas, and Glaze, a bold bakery making waves on George Street.

Festival-goers can enjoy live music, arts and crafts, fairground rides, face painting, and pop-up street performers, alongside more than 100 stalls of tasty bites and local goods.

Accessibility takes center stage, with British Sign Language interpreters, wheelchair ramps, a soothing Sensory Retreat, and dedicated support from Communities 1st in the Community Zone.

St Peter’s Street, Chequer Street, and High Street will be closed to traffic from noon to 6 pm, ensuring a fun, safe atmosphere for all.

Families will find a special Toddler Zone, while the popular Earth Zone inspires with hands-on activities on sustainable living.
