About

Anthony and Faith warmly welcome you to the John Bunyan, a truly family-run country pub set in a picturesque woodland setting on the edge of the newHeartwood Forest. The pub takes its name from John Bunyan, the renowned local preacher and author of Pilgrim s Progress, who once preached and occasionally stayed in a nearby cottage—whose ruins can still be found close to the pub today.
