The Great Northern is an independent free house with a sun-trap garden and heated garden room that aims to do the simple things well! We offer a carefully selected range of Cask Marque accredited real ales & still ciders, craft beers, spirits & a great wine list thrown in for good measure! We serve traditional pub food, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. We aim to deliver a warm, friendly environment where you will feel welcome and looked after by our great team lead by Sheri & Emma. Pub quiz every Tuesday from 8pm, along with a film quiz the last Wednesday of the month. Our traditional Sunday roast is served between 12pm- 4:30pm every Sunday. CAMRA discount available.
